Please read these MintPay Content Guidelines carefully before using our Platform or Services. You should also read our Platform Terms of Use, User Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy (which we may subsequently refer to in the policy that follows).
1 OTHER APPLICABLE TERMS
1.1 These MintPay Content Guidelines refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of our Platform and our MintPay service and are incorporated by reference into these MintPay Content Guidelines:
1.2 Other terms and definitions used in these MintPay Content Guidelines may be found in the above additional terms and will have the same meaning in these MintPay Content Guidelines as they do there.
1.3 These MintPay Content Guidelines do not form part of our contract with our Fans or Content Creators, and are not intended to be contractually binding, but nonetheless are recommended to be followed as to your usage of our Platform and our MintPay service.
2.1 The MintPay service may be used for the purchase and receipt of voluntary gifts and tips between Fans and Content Creators.
2.2 Any tips that are sent from Fans to Content Creators will be deemed to be a gift from the relevant Fan(s) who sent such tips. Tips sent via MintPay do not confer on Fans any intellectual property rights or usage rights over the Content of the recipient Content Creator.
2.3 Tips are not intended to act as form or substitute for payment of content.
2.4 Fans will not be entitled to any refunds in relation to any tips already made. For further information on our refund policies, please refer to our User Terms & Conditions. In the event of chargebacks or payment reversals, MintPay reserves the right to terminate access to the Platform or recover outstanding fees from the User’s account.
2.5 ****MintPay does not make available the ability to send or receive content, whether multimedia or text.
2.6 The only content available within MintPay is an individual profile picture, which MintPay moderates via a mix of human and AI moderation.
2.7 MintPay facilitates payments and tips between Fans and Content Creators on the Platform. MintPay is not a bank or a payment institution and does not hold customer funds as deposits within the meaning of the Payment Services Regulations 2017.
2.8 Fans and Content Creators acknowledge and accept that payments processed via MintPay may include Platform Fees (5%) and External Fees such as payment processing fees or gas fees, which are clearly outlined during the payment process.
2.9 MintPay supports transactions using USDC, a stablecoin pegged to USD. Gas fees apply for transferring cryptocurrency from Platform accounts to external wallets. These fees are borne by the User.
